(no subject)
Supernatural is officially my obsession.
Actually, it's been my obsession ever since that huge break-up I had last March.
Well, I was informed that I needed to have an obsession to get over my ex, so I tried to take up knitting. Then I decided I'm way too young to knit (plus I can't knit for beans), so I took up making friendship bracelets. That lasted until I bought a huge pack of brightly colored strings from Wal Mart so ginormous that I was scared away from friendship bracelets forever. There was no way I was sitting for that long.
So, I poured myself into my photography. That lasted until after my three-week trip to Europe, when I had taken so many pictures I felt like my photographic eye definately needed some photographic eyedrops (I'm so witty).
Then one day when I was waiting in line for the DMV to take my permit test (such a special day for me, and not because of getting my permit), my sister was watching a scene from "Scarecrow" on her laptop. I leaned over, bored. The first thing I said was "he's hot." I'll let you guess who I was talking about. Later I saw the second guy, and said "He's hot too." My sister promptly responded that the two were brothers, and I said, "That's even hotter." From that point on, I was hooked.
Later I decided that the plot wasn't so bad either.
Now that I'm officially obsessed, I've faced many decisions in the land of Supernatural: do I love Dean or Sam? (Both.) Do I really like the plot enough to read fanfiction? (Yes.) So now, I face another decision.
And I've decided that I'm not going to watch the second director's cut for next week.
Yes, I've already watched the first one. So this is a big step for me? I guess. About an hour ago, my sister played it on her laptop screaming "I'm watching it!!! I'm watching it!" and I had to run from the room. Seriously.
So, from now on, I'm spoiler-free (apparently). I think I cheat sometimes though, because I watch the previews and read the CW descriptions and stuff. Has anyone else found that it's nearly impossible to be spoiler free? I mean, come on, you miss out on so much great appreciation of anticipation.
Or something.
This spoiler-free world could be fun, I guess, but I'm wondering if I should just give up and watch everything. I think the spoiler-free people in this fandom are becoming a huge minority.
Basically, I need a really good reason to remain spoiler-free, or I'm going to watch the second director's cut.
What the heck, season's almost over anyway...
